Wayne has recently taken over as CEO and previously was a businsess advisor who had been helping hundreds of small and medium sized business achieve their goals, strategies and training needs as a Business Advisor and mentor over the last 8 years through the Central NSW Business Enterprise Centre and Central NSW Business HQ. He enjoys talking to businesses and working with them to develop and expand using cost efficient technologies, methods and practices to suit their individual needs. Wayne understands that businesses come in all shapes and sizes and each is unique with their own issues and experience level.
Wayne is experienced and passionate about helping small business at all levels from start ups, those expanding or contracting to those wishing to sell or close their business
Wayne is a qualified trainer and has taught Small Business Management, Micro Business Operations and Front Line Management.
Prior to joining the BEC Wayne was with the ATO as a GST Field Officer and assisted businesses in learning about their GST and PAYG obligations. He was also an auditor and worked in special projects looking at high risk groups such as the construction industry and other areas of the cash economy.
Wayne was also an officer in the Royal Australian Navy and worked in many varied roles such as small teams on patrol boats, warships and in an operational capacity at Maritime Headquarters.

NEIS Program Manager
Faye comes from a small business family having grown up in the hospitality and accommodation industry. She has also owned and operated a home-based business for over 7 years.
Faye has been with the Central NSW BEC since 2003, and has developed and managed many areas of the growing business operations in that time. She is passionate about offering high standards of quality customer service to all areas of the business and client contacts.
Faye is our NEIS Manager; looking after the jobactive Program that offers self employment opportunities for eligible jobseekers through the New Enterprise Incentive Scheme. Faye’s lengthy experience and background in small business and the hospitality industry coupled with her qualifications in Frontline Management, Workplace Health & Safety, provides her with a solid foundation to manage this program on behalf of the BEC.

Lindsay is a Bathurst resident and has lived in Central NSW (Bathurst, Orange and Mudgee) since 1974. Lindsay previously ran his own business “Stopnrock” a retail music store based in Bathurst since 1980. He is also a partner in “The Hub Espresso Bar & Eatery” in Bathurst and brings extensive business experience directly from the “Frontlines” to assist business clients in growing their enterprise.
Lindsay is a Business Development Manager, funded under the Australian Small Business Advisory Program (ASBAS) and assists clients in the areas of Financial Management, Business Planning, Digital Engagement and making the most of your Talent and Team.

Russell has worked in Bathurst and throughout the Central West of NSW for over 30 years and comes to the BEC with a wealth of knowledge in business, innovation and sustainability.
Prior to joining the BEC, Russell was with “Skillset”, a Group Training Company for over 18 years in various roles including; Field Officer, Bathurst Branch Manager, Industrial Relations Manager, Project Office and Business Services Manager.
Russell has also conducted waste and energy assessments for businesses and conducted WorkCover accredited training (White Card). He is also an active member of the Boundary Road Reserve Landcare Group and has previously been the Chairperson.
